Middletown Community Foundation

Improving the quality of life for people who live and work in Middletown

About The MCF

The Middletown Community Foundation is a non-profit organization created to improve the quality of life for individuals who live and work in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

The Foundation's mission is to promote and enhance the community's quality of life by improving public service programs in partnership with other non-profit Middletown community groups.

The Foundation's goals are to seek and provide funds for worthwhile programs within Middletown Township that are compatible with its mission. For example, the recreation program desires to expand on its successes with funding for program scholarships, purchase of materials to improve and expand course offerings, the development of a science and environmental center and community garden at Styer's Orchards.

Public safety programs will benefit from the Foundation's gifts by securing funding for projects such as domestic violence protection programs, the K-9 unit, and the purchase of Automated Emergency Defibrillators (AED) machines. Other efforts will include the expansion of child safety seat checks, child identification programs, and safety seminars for local businesses and citizens groups.

Donations to the Middletown Community Foundation are gratefully accepted. Checks payable to the Middletown Community Foundation may be sent to P.O. Box 1128, Langhorne, PA 19047. Please specify to which program or agency you would like your donation designated.

All requests for grants from the Foundation must meet the criteria established in the by-laws. Grants can only be provided for programs that enhance the quality of life and benefit the community of Middletown Township.

Grant applications are considered on an ongoing basis. Groups that meet the criteria outlined above are invited to submit a written proposal, including amount of funding requested, to the Middletown Community Foundation, P.O. Box 1128, Langhorne, PA 19047, or go here for an on-line application.

The Middletown Community Foundation is a §501 (c) (3) tax-exempt, non-profit corporation. Donations may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor.

As always, the Middletown Community Foundation's annual information return, Form 990, or Form 990-EZ are available for inspection by the public for three years after the later of the due date of the return or the date the return is filed.
